Audi High Beam Assist Upgrade

The high-beam assistant decides when its sensible to use the main beam headlights.

It switches between main beam and dipped beam automatically – leaving the driver to concentrate on the traffic without needing to think about the appropriate lighting and illumination range. The headlights are always set to the right light.

Note: the high-beam assistant is only available in conjunction with Xenon plus headlights.
High–beam assist recognises oncoming vehicles at night, switching headlights between main and dipped beam automatically. It’s a very clever bit of kit and is claimed to make nocturnal driving less stressful.
